MedCool with PLN 1,190,000 for development
The MedCool project created by Tomasz Klekiel and Elżbieta Noworol-Luft, enters the bloodstream of young businesses supported by the Ślisz-Sandecka Kozioł & Partners Law Firm. What is MedCool? These are autonomous, multi-chamber refrigerators for the transport of blood and blood products, thanks to which they will reach medical facilities much safer and faster (e.g. with the use of drones).
Paulina Ślisz-Sandecka and Jędrzej Kozioł advised on the preparation of full investment documentation for the contract between MedCool and Scanderia Venture Fund. PLN 1,190,000 of funds from the BRIdge Alfa Program of the National Center for Research and Development will enable the creation of an innovative system of blood transporters, and in just one year in Poland, according to the data of the Ministry of Health, about 1.7 million blood transfusions are performed. MedCool will speed up deliveries, improve the efficiency of treatment procedures, and save even more patients whose lives are at risk.
